Sona is the Director of Finance and Operations at CMG Landscape Architecture. With over 10 years’ experience in the AEC industry, Sona applies a breadth of experience and financial acumen to solve complex business problems and enhance business processes. She is adept in the art of software conversions, operation enhancement, and collaborative management techniques. At CMG, Sona led the implementation of an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, modernizing a cultural shift in project management at the firm. She has been key in developing improved financial and project performance reporting processes, resulting in greater transparency on the firm’s overall financial and operational health. Sona is also at the forefront of establishing compliance and protocol on all internal human resources functions.
Sona is a member of the Institute of Management Accountants and Society for Design Administration and is a candidate for receiving the Certified Management Accountant designation. She holds a Master of Business Administration in Executive Leadership and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Saint Mary’s College of California.
