Mwinyi is a Designer at CMG Landscape Architecture with four years of experience. He has been a tremendous team player and important voice within CMG’s most notable planning and design projects, including Meta MPK22 Park, YouTube, San Mateo County Building, and Austin South Central Waterfront. Mwinyi holds a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from California Polytechnic State University – San Luis Obispo.
Mwinyi believes that the built environment has a direct influence on our “common sense” and Landscape Architects are in a unique position to influence behavior through design. He seeks to increase diversity not only through demographics, but also socioeconomically. Reaching out to local schools in San Francisco, Mwinyi works with students to educate them about the built environment and why it is important for them to be represented in the design of their city.
