Alex is a Designer at CMG Landscape Architecture. With a cross-disciplinary education in landscape architecture, printmaking, and sculpture, Alex’s approach to design is shaped by his enduring curiosity and enthusiasm for graphic design and visual representation.
Alex is experienced in managing projects internationally, working across private and public realms. He has a refined interest in co-building and co-design stemming from his work on large-scale affordable housing and collaborations with community land trusts, co-operatives, and community development agencies. Alex recently worked closely with Scottish Environment Protection Agency and Fife Council delivering a large-scale, ecologically focused strategic redesign of the River Leven catchment area.
Alex graduated with distinction from the University of Edinburgh, where he was later awarded a teaching position between 2017 and 2020. He has submitted winning entries for several international design competitions and has exhibited work across Europe and South America. Alex holds a Master of Science, Landscape of Architecture from the University of Edinburgh in the United Kingdom.
