Franny is a Designer at CMG Landscape Architecture, informed by a deep curiosity regarding the ways policy, culture, and power imbalances are embedded in the built environment, influencing our vision of the world and our ways of being. She is particularly interested in how humans experience infrastructural and ecological systems at the urban interface and the ways in which landscape is a language and medium for framing those experiences.
Franny is passionate about the role of landscape architecture in supporting climate adaptation, informing sustainable land use planning, and as an advocacy tool for just, democratic, and beautiful public spaces. While attending The University of Texas, she explored these aspects of the field through teaching opportunities at the National Organization for Minority Architects Project Pipeline Summer Program and Design Futures conference. Prior to joining CMG, Franny has experience with small-scale public work, commercial redevelopment, and residential landscape design.
Franny was awarded Faculty Recognition for Design Excellence and received a Student Honor Award in General Design from the Texas Chapter of ASLA in 2023. Franny holds a Master of Landscape Architecture with a concentration in City Planning from The University of Texas at Austin.
